Camera Calibration

Image 01

For any application where accurate geometrical measurements are required, having an accurate camera calibration is absolutely necessary. This holds especially for reconstructing 3D points or 3D surfaces, where minute calibration errors exacerbate to significant reconstruction errors.

Such errors might not always be obvious when visualising a reconstructed surface, but they will cause problems when aligning multiple reconstructions from the same object, or when overlaying texture data from a separate camera onto a reconstructed surface.

We can advice you on the best ways to calibrate your camera system, provide you the necessary tools and give tutorials on how to get the most out of your system.

Sensor Synchronisation
For real-time computer vision applications, sometimes timing and synchronisation are even more crucial than image quality. Synchronisation can be especially challenging when visual data need to be combined...
